CONTAINER WALLS / ADVERTISING

Ein Turm aus recycelten Seecontainern.

Container walls provide a great opportunity to display outdoor advertising at busy traffic locations. There are many design options. The implementation is relatively simple, flexible and inexpensive when compared to traditional construction methods. To accommodate wind, the containers must be ballasted.

This container wall creates a usable unit within a 600 m2 billboard area. In this unit products can be displayed, a service bureau or simply a café can be operated. It is applicable to highway interchanges, to major sporting events or as a Paddock Lounge of a race track.

SONOS STAND , Trade Show IFA , Autumn 2014

This design was developed for the Hi-Fi maker Sonos and is a proposal for its trade show appearance in the outside section of the IFA 2014 in Berlin.

Four 20ft sea containers unexpectedly stacked on top of each other create a simple yet remarkable concept. An ample passage way invites the clients to linger at the stand. The distinctly visible trade name provides an optimal brand presence.

SITE OFFICE / COFFEE SHOP WITH BICYCLE GARAGE, CONCEPT 2015

A temporary site office and a coffee shop with a bicycle garage were developed for the conversion of the old ticket printing plant (Alte Fahrkartendruckerei) in Mainz into a modern office location.

The annex on a slope consists of a 20ft open side container for the bicycle garage and a 40ft double door container for the office / cafe.

Depending on the combination of the containers, a container roof terrace is also created. The container building is accessed via an external staircase.

Twotimestwentyfeet_promotion_event_container_fair_booth_popup_makeup&haare_cargotecture_container_architecture_2x20ft_maccosmetics_12

A well-known beauty center in Berlin desired to remodel and update its appearance. In order to serve and maintain the majority of the clientele during the renovation, the owners wanted to create a make-up / hair stylist container with the help of the main sponsor M·A·C. This should temporarily take over the task. This product is excellent for promotional purposes at festivals and fashion shows.

KIOSK MAX-PLANCK HIGH SCHOOL, KARLSRUHE 2016

The Max-Planck-Gymnasium Karlsruhe is a high school in the district Karlsruhe-Rüppurr. Within the context of the conversion, or rather, the expansion of the H-construction, the schoolyard was also completely redesigned.

For the kiosk, a standard 20ft high-cube container was insulated and supported accordingly. Furthermore, a lockable entrance door on the longitudinal side of the container, a room-high window element with sliding windows on the narrow side, and laterally two smaller viewing windows were installed. The connection to the technical supply (sewage, water, electricity) was ensured by a floor opening.

ART EVENT “MONEX”, NATIONAL GALLERY BERLIN, FALL 2014

The Artist Group Artitude e.V. used our container module Infopint as Art container in front of the Nationalgalerie museum in Berlin. National cultural monuments were virtually sold as part of this “Art Action” against the sell out of cultural goods and speculation.

NATUROFLOOR SHOWROOM CONTAINER, SWISSBAU FAIR, BASEL 2015

Swiss company Naturofloor, who specialize in high-quality handcrafted surface coverings made entirely of mineral materials, needed a showroom booth for the Swissbau Fair in Basel.

As they required a large surface to showcase their products, two containers joint by large flaps allowed for the presentation of their range of materials for interiors, living spaces, bathrooms and furniture.

The container travelled to various fairs around Germany.

GREENHOUSE, BERLIN, SPRING 2014

This greenhouse container is a 20ft sea container that was stripped to its core elements. Only the forklift fittings were left in order to facilitate the transportation. A new steel frame was welded and vitrified with 4mm float glass whereas the doors were vitrified with 6 mm float glass.

Several doors allow an optimal access and enable the necessary aeration of the greenhouse. To give it a bit or romantic countryside look,we reused white wooden vintage doors we had.

Apart from the new glass and the aluminium bars that hold it,this is a complete recycling project.
